Liberty is singing her heart out

I love Liberty and her voice. We were singing one day doing divotions and Hannah was playing the guitar and singing. So Liberty says one second and goes up stairs and gets a micraphone and starts to sing in it and Liberty has a very unique voice so we took pictures and videos. I do not know how to blog videos so if you do tell me in any way.

Thanksgiving

We spend every Thanksgiving in the valley with Chad's folks. This year was no exception and we had a BLAST.

Eatin' the turkey leg...and LOVIN' it!

Family game of pool.

After a long day...

Liberty enjoying her favorite Uncle Eric.

The next day. On the way to ride horses.

Tiffany had a blast!

Liberty and her sweet cousin, Hailey.

Liberty was a little nervous at first and didn't want to ride but that soon changed!

I told Chad to put her on anyway and she loved it!

Can you tell?

Yesterday at dinner we asked the kids what they would do if they could do anything they wanted for a day, Liberty said she would ride horses! Hannah said she would spend the day at Disney Land, and Tiffany said she would spend the day in Heaven and be with Jesus.

Heading back home.

Christmas Dinner

Chad and his dad went duck hunting at Lake Henshaw last week. They didn't kill any ducks but they did get a goose! Chad is really enjoying learning to hunt and he says he seems to like duck hunting the best~ it keeps him on the lake!

Chad and his dad looking proud.

Our nutty girl acting like she's killing the goose herself.

Must have stunk pretty bad ~but they still stayed and watched.

Liberty and "Pop-Pop" with the final product. Liberty LOVES watching cooking shows, so this was no big deal for her. She can't wait to eat it!

Our Christmas dinner. HHMMMMM. I'll let ya know how it turns out.

Making Us Smile and Not Even Knowing

Funny how kids act out what they see. One of the girls VERY dear friends got very sick this week and was air lifted to the ICU in San Diego. She couldn't breath and she had an elevated heart rate and a high fever. She's fine now, but we were all scared and worried about her. Chad looked out the front window today and found the girls acting out poor Audra's condition. It was nice to smile~ even when our hearts were so heavy for our precious friend.

Budding Artists

We try to go out every week and work on our art skills. This week we went to Harveston Lake. Harveston is beautiful and has so many different forms of nature to draw. It was a fun evening...

Liberty draws too. Just not in this picture.

Chad tries to read The Word as the sun is setting.

Great ad for "HEAD and SHOULDERS" shampoo.

I love this picture! Tiffany does such a great job taking care of her sister. She looks like a little mamma here.

Cookin' With the Kids

Our friend, Steve Taylor, owns Bring Em Home Dinners. We go there every month for a "Family Night." As a family we make freezer meals. It's a HUGE help to a busy home school mom like me! This was Liberty's second time going and she really likes it! They have a little kids kitchen area there but she prefers to stay with us and put the meals together. It's always a fun family night!

Potty Trainin'

We're working with Liberty to try to potty train. She is doing AMAZINGLY well, considering her birth defect. Last week our friend Mario Limon came over to put in a whole house fan. While he was working, his son, Sammy, took the box and made Liberty a play house. A few days later Hannah and Tiff drug it outside and put Lib's port-a-potty into it. She LOVES it and now it's all she'll use! HA! Notice the toilet paper roll on top! HA!

Playing Dentist

I walked into Tiff and Lib's room today and they were playing dentist. Tiffany can act out anything she sees to a "T." After watching her "work" on Liberty, I really can see her being a dentist someday!! She and Liberty are A LOT alike. They are both very snuggly and sensitive and they can be very silly. They both love to make people laugh.
They make me laugh all day long. I'm such a blessed momma!!

Fun in the Fort

We have been so busy lately. I told the girls that they couldn't have friends over and they just had to play amongst themselves for the day. They made this fort and played in it all day.

Fun at the Park

We went to the dog park and had so much fun! Liberty amazes us because when we first arrived home from China she was absolutely TERRIFIED of Lincoln and Reagan. We would have NEVER even thought about bringing her to the dog park. When we finally did take her, she wasn't scared AT ALL. She threw the ball and ran around the whole time.
